The Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce and Latvian Farmers Parliament has commisionned a survey comparing manure spreading technologies available on the market.
The main objective of the study is to give fair and objective information, which enables for farmers to make fact-based decisions during selection of modern, efficient and environmentally friendly manure spreading technology. A comprehensive study should provide also answers to the question of whether and when it is worth to buy manure spreading machinery, and when it would be more feasible to outsource manure spreading service.
The report was composed by the Estonian Crop Research Institute in the framework of Estonian-Latvian cross-border co-operation project “GreenAgri”.
